Guangzhou South Railway Station

I went to Macao this past weekend to sort out some visa related issues.  There is a very new, very clean high speed train that runs between Guangzhou and Zhuhai, the port city directly opposite Macao.  For a price of about $5 dollars, it is a great trip, and you get to spend time in this amazingly huge station located at the bottom of the line 2.  At some time in the next year, the government intends to finish it’s rumored north-south line, allowing passengers to ride from Guangzhou to Beijing by high speed rail.  I’m looking forward to that day, but until then, enjoy these few pictures of this amazing station.
